The Northeast Ohio City Council Association, Inc. is a voluntary association of members of municipal Councils. Though the organization was originally formed for the suburban communities of Cuyahoga County, the NOCCA vision has always been to grow beyond that border to reach out to the entire region. The organization purpose is to provide Councilmembers with a forum for improving their skills and effectiveness and to address issues of local and regional importance. A focus on mutual solutions to growing economic development is a part of the NOCCA vision.
The Association shall provide opportunities for its members to:
Membership in the Association is open to duly elected or appointed members of City, Village, or Township Councils. Yearly dues for membership is $400.00 per City, for up to and including, nine Councilpersons. An Associate Membership is also avilable for former Councilpersons with annual dues of $75.00. An Associate member has no voting privileges. The membership year is from January 1st to December 31st.
Meetings of the Association are held quarterly. Meeting announcements and various other communications are sent to members, as well as our e-newsletter, which is sent electronically, as a resource to NOCCA members.

- exchange ideas and information
- develop solutions to common problems and regional concerns
- facilitate communications among communities
